What We Do

Project Pearl already offers:
- An outreach and drop in service offering holistic support to women working in the sex industry. This includes offering food, sexual health resources, advice and listening support, as well as sign posting to relevant agencies to receive more specialist care.
- Bags of Hope have been given out to hundreds of vulnerable women containing vital items to help restore a sense of dignity and joy to those most in need.
- A Christian chaplaincy service to people affected by the sex industry, offering spiritual support by invitation.
- Advocacy on behalf of women who feel trapped in the sex industry, provide opportunities for awareness raising, and partner with other organisations working in this complex field of work to help to bring about long-term change.
“The attention to detail and care when they deliver the sessions has helped many women to experience an increase in self-worth and a sense of purpose. Their contribution to the sessions has resulted in added value to our service. They bring some great ideas around delivery, always ensuring the women leave the session feeling happy and with a smile.”
– Tina Threadgold, Head of Services, MASH,
Our future aims:
Project Pearl is working to provide a home for women wanting to leave the sex industry to rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.
The Project Pearl home will:
- Provide a first step Christian-led family ‘home from home’ sanctuary for women who want to leave the sex industry.
- Provide an environment where the women are safe, valued, loved, and supported
- Equip and empower them to rebuild their lives for the next step of independent living, free from constraints such as homelessness and substance abuse.
- Be a centre of excellence that draws on the experience, knowledge and expertise of specialists and organisations.
- Show Christian love and kindness in everything we do. We want the women to know they are loved by God and that they have a future purpose in life, that everyone is made in the image of God and deserves to be treated with respect and dignity.
Lizzy Robinson, Project Pearl Founder and Chair of Trustees, says
“I’m really excited about the group of women with lived experience who are part of a forum that have started to meet to help shape and speak into this exciting next step.”
Project Pearl will mean women who feel trapped in the sex industry will be set free to step into their full potential for their future purpose in life.
Project Pearl is more than just a roof – it’s a chance to rebuild.
We will be one step closer to a world where the sexual exploitation of women and girls has been eradicated from both our streets and screens.
Join us in making a difference! Help women find freedom and hope at Project Pearl.
